Submersible pressure sensors

Submersible Pressure Sensors from WIKA - market leader since 1946

The submersible pressure sensor is a special type of pressure sensor for hydrostatic level measurement in tanks, wells, shafts and bore holes. For this, the submersible pressure sensor is submerged directly in the liquid to be measured, and positioned as close as possible to the bottom. There, the submersible pressure sensor measures the hydrostatic pressure, which enables a direct conclusion regarding the current level, i.e. the height of the liquid column above it.

FAQ

Will the pressure transmitter still work properly when the supply voltage is slightly below the minimum specified level?

Up to a certain pressure, the pressure transmitter will still provide a correct output signal. If the pressure increases beyond this point, however, the output signal will remain at the same value, since the power supply is not sufficient to drive the output fully.

What causes zero point drift?

Through the ageing of the electrical components, through temperature and load cycling.
